Washington Dulles Airport (IAD)

Washington Dulles Airport (IAD)

While Washington Dulles Airport (IAD) does not have a named Special Needs Sensory Room, it offers nursing facilities such as the one documented below across from D1 (D Concourse) that offers a quiet, low stimulation environment. The room contains a changing table, one or more toys. a comfortable chair meant for nursing and an adequate amount of additional space (As noted below). [1]. Rooms (airside) are also available near A20, B70 & C11. [2] To be clear, IAD maintains the right to restrict access given the focus of the rooms is for nursing purposes - please check with the airport beforehand to obtain the latest guidance on access rules if your purpose is not focused on nursing while also utilizing the resources.

Access is available by calling the number posted beside the door; a code is provided which can be entered to access the room. [3]
