SFO Airport offers a sensory room in Terminal One near the C Gates. [1] Hours are 5am PT - 11pm PT. [2]
SFO Airport describers the resource as follows: “The Sensory Room is open to all guests, but was designed and created especially for our neurodivergent travelers and their families to help them prepare for their trip. Inspired by nature and with safety in mind, the room features a variety of furnishings and interactive experiences to engage travelers and alleviate pre-flight anxiety. The room has three distinct spaces: a quiet area; an active area; and the Cabin Experience, a realistic, full-scale aircraft interior for passengers to “practice” being on the airplane.” [3]
